A musical foundation
Loyal began studying classical piano as a young child and also has experience as a singer. This musical background shapes how he approaches dance, listening to songs from both a musician’s and a dancer’s perspective.
Loyal to Musicality
Through his Loyal to Musicality initiative, he teaches dancers to recognize instrumental layers, anticipate stops and understand musical phrasing. His workshops take him across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Learning through play
Loyal’s “Squid Game” Musicality Challenge uses interactive tasks to develop rhythm, reflexes and anticipation. His international festival teaching includes Dubai Kizomba Fusion, The Battle Kizz in Paris, VivaFest in Turkey and Multiverse Kizomba Meeting in France.
